Mix Creative Kitchen

November 16, 2017, Greenwich, CT: One could say that MIX Creative Kitchen was born out of necessity. A need for fresh, healthy food, usually while on the run, but without sacrificing quality and flavor. This past April, Palm Foods LLC, the entrepreneurial team behind the MIX brand, put their hunger where their mouths are and introduced a made-to-order breakfast fix, salad, and sauté bowl concept that offers quality food in a fast-casual setting.

Planning on eating healthier for the New Year? Let’s be real, every year we say this. Myself, I decided to start a little earlier this year and have been quite successful on keto. However, a month in and having survived Thanksgiving, I’m hitting that slump. I’m uninspired and bored with the same meals.

When I was invited to try MIX I was so excited to switch things up a little and have someone else prepare healthy food for me. We sampled their fresh, flavored lemonades, soups, and gluten-free pizzas for starters. Then, we made our salads. You can either choose from their menu of original mixes or make your own. I decided to try their Smoky Southwest salad with shrimp for my protein. We ended with peanut energy bites and avocado chocolate pudding. Absolutely everything that we ate was delicious.

Not only do they serve lunch and dinner but they offer a breakfast menu as well. I can’t wait to go back and try their breakfast bowls and fresh pressed juices. If you’re ever in a rush or want to stock up for the many snow days ahead Mix offers a grab and go with daily fresh made wraps, sandwiches, soups, and snacks. I’m especially excited for Mix because I pass through Greenwich every week to visit Pat in Queens and it’s a quick stop off of the I-95. I love that I can pick up healthy food for my weekends away and not have to worry about prepping myself or cheat an entire weekend!
