When we were trying to find a house for this weekend the girls maid-of-honor truly lucked out. After being turned down several times by what we thought would be the perfect location, we would be turned down because the houses would require a full week rental during the summer. Somehow we ended up running across the Historic Granite House in Waterford and our prayers were answered.
The owner and rental company bent over backwards and were incredibly accommodating to our needs. Paul, the owners even met me before we put a deposit down to give me a tour of the whole property. They spared no expense in this house and every tiny detail was well thought out. It even came fully equipped with a spa shower that you could choose the color light setting on, or you could use the overhead rain or wall jet adjustments.
It’s safe to say we were all obsessed. The location was perfect. Close to the Block Island Ferry, state parks, an exit from Mohegan, and 20 minutes from beautiful Mystic. As mentioned in Part 1, we had a full weekend in this area of the state visiting Mohegan and partaking in a beer tour of the local breweries. If we had just stayed in this house and not gone out at all, I can safely say we would have still more than enjoyed ourselves.
So, check out some snaps of where we stayed! I’m not going to put the info up on here, but if anyone is interested in rental information drop me a message!
